The WOODMETAL Edgebander 500XY expands on the offered range in the 50 series edge banders. The 50XY addresses the demand for a perfect edge finish. If you have a cutting machine with dull blades or rough cuts, the pre-milling unit of the WE 50XY trims off 0.4mm to 2mm from the workpiece to leave a pristine clean edge ready for edge banding. This is done at machine speeds of up to 18m/min thereby ensuring that quality is not sacrificed in place of production speed.
Designed and built with reliability and quality in mind, the 500XY can be used for very long hours without worry about machine fatigue or decline in the quality of work output. One of its major advantages is its simple structure and intuitive operation via an interactive touchscreen with details in English. Its edging unit has a large pot and is fitted to accept locally available Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate (EVA) hot melt glue.
